Empowering Women
The project recognizes the pivotal role that women play in sustainable development. By empowering women, it aims to create a positive impact on their livelihoods and overall well-being. Women are trained in sustainable livelihoods, including roles such as nature guides for ecotourism and forest guards for nature reserves, women solar engineers and clean energy entrepreneurs. Additionally, the project supports women in establishing artisanal micro-businesses, fostering economic independence and self-reliance.
Conservation Efforts
The project’s focus on eco-tourism aligns with conservation goals. By promoting responsible tourism, it contributes to the preservation of natural resources. The Solar Garden component emphasizes sustainable energy practices, reducing the environmental impact. Through education and awareness, the project encourages local communities to actively participate in conservation activities and protect their natural heritage.
