Who we are

Nsinde Eco Tourism Research and Resource Centre is a Youth and Women lead health and conservation organization established to educate the native citizens on the importance of conserving environment promoting echo friendly local Tourism in Mwenge central, Kyarusozi sub county, Kyenjojo district, Rwenzori region, Uganda, East Africa, carrying out eco-tourism as a growing ecological footprint which is part of evolution in smart agriculture tourism and climate change evolution integrating Population, Health, Environment and Development (PHED) in Uganda.

Nsinde Eco Tourism Research and Resource Centre was founded by a network of community women co-founded by Mbabazi Beatrice (Adyeer), Akatugonza Catherine (Abooki) & Ninsiima Serena (Akiiki) rural social enthusiastic women with Love for improved family health and wellbeing through health & conservation.

Nsinde Eco- Tourism Research and Resource Centre is working with consortium of public and academic engagements in science; Kagoora Central Forest reserve Program; The project in long term envisions of setting up an ecosystem science laboratory and research vessel in Nsinde village, Kyenjojo district Uganda. The organization owns land for the echo-museum and the project is expanding with conservation work going on.

Mission

To conserve biological diversity and enhance social welfare by promoting innovative and sustainable environmental management engagement and inspiring families in joy of heritage, eco-green scientific discovery, wonder of nature of River Rwamaswajwa and Muzizi River ranges, Kagora Forest in Albertine elephant corridor of Uganda.

Vision

To mobilize citizens for sustainable solutions through strengthened Population, Health, Environment &development (PHED) integration, adaptation and resilience.
